With fall right around the corner, many students are beginning to crave their favorite fall drinks again. As someone who loves coffee, I had no problem taste testing the fall specialties and more at different coffee shops in our town. Here is my review of the best places to get coffee near Center Grove High School in terms of convenience and deliciousness.
BIGGBY COFFEE
BIGGBY COFFEE is a coffee drive through with more than 60 types of coffee and many savory breakfast items. The drive thru makes grabbing a coffee simpler and saves you extra time by not having to get out of your car. This is a great place to grab a quick breakfast to be energized for the school day, or as a pick-me-up while running after school errands. BIGGBY COFFEE by far out does any other coffee shop in terms of their wide variety of options and unique fall specials, and they all taste delicious!
Energy Spot 360 Center Grove
Energy Spot is an energy drink and coffee store well known by Center Grove students where they can go to get coffee and energy drinks before and after school. It’s right down the road from CG and the location is convenient in terms of getting to school on time with no complications. Energy Spot 360 has protein coffee, meal replacement shakes, “energy bombs”, and refreshers. I personally love their refreshers, especially the ones on their autumn menu. I overall love the options Energy Spot has and feel they definitely should be in the top 5 best coffee places around Center Grove.
Cafe Euclid
Cafe Euclid is a homey coffee shop with espresso and tea. They’re very casual and pretty standard when it comes to their coffee. They’re big on bagel sandwiches and provide a menu with lots of bagel combinations. They also have an app, which makes it helpful to order ahead of time as well as to be updated on new specials. This is a great after school meet up place where you can sit outside on their porch and catch up with friends. I think this is one of the leading places to get a simple lunch with coffee along with mouth watering pastries and desserts.
Coffeehouse Five
I think Coffeehouse Five is the most professional out of every coffee place I reviewed and deserves the recognition as one of the best coffee places in the Center Grove area. The workers here are super kind and efficient about getting your order to you swiftly. They roast their own coffee beans every day in an airbed roasting system which prevents their coffee from becoming bitter and keeps it tasting fresh. I would say Coffeehouse Five has the best standard coffee, and the most filling food to go along with it.
Fresh Pots Coffee Bar
Fresh Pots is a classic cafe, decorated with lots of greenery and artwork, which creates a very welcoming vibe. There are tables as well as couches where you can sit back and relax as you do school work. I love how it has a cozy atmosphere that makes it easy to relax. They have a wide variety of coffee options, including several fall exclusive items. Fresh Pots also has a website where you can order online, which is helpful because you don’t have to leave your house early in order to pick it up. Fresh Pots for sure makes the running for top 5 best coffee places in Center Grove.
