Have you ever been interested in adopting a dog but don’t know what breed would best suit you and your family? As someone who ran into this problem myself, I decided to find out what the best dog breeds are based on living in a family environment and how easy they are to take care of.
- German Shepherds
These dogs are very energetic, smart and love the outdoors. These dogs are also very hard-working and can be great detectives. They do require regular grooming but are very low-maintenance dogs. Their instinctual willingness to learn makes them a very loyal and great companion. These dogs have an instinct to protect you at all costs. With being the most popular breed for helping the police, you know they have to be good dogs.
- Siberian Husky
This dog is also commonly known as the sled dog which makes them great candidates if you live somewhere cold or want a comforting snow buddy. Even though they are known for their enjoyment of cool temperatures they are very adaptable to environments. With their bold appearance, they can be noticed by everyone. They are loyal but do require consistent training and socialization. They thrive on mental and physical challenges and enjoy working hard.
- Goldendoodles
Goldendoodles are a mix of golden retrievers and poodles. With both of these breeds being so great alone, they are even better mixed together. Goldendoodles are fun, upbeat, and friendly. They go with the flow and will be excited about anything. Just being around one you can feel the vibes as they run around you with joy. You might be worried that you can’t get a dog because of allergies but this dog might be perfect because they are known to cause minimal pet allergies with their low shedding fur. This makes it easier with people who have allergies to have a dog.
- Golden retrievers
These dogs are playful, energetic, and extremely gentle. They would be the perfect new furry friend. Golden retrievers are also very smart, and they only bark to alert you of things. They will be a great dog to not bother your neighbors. They are also one of the best dogs for families because they are great with kids. They are also very social dogs and love to be around new people. They are a great dog to be outdoors and as your social companion.
- Labrador retriever
These dogs are smart, curious, kind, and would make a great addition to your family. For people who are interested in a dog that has less fur but is still cuddly, this could be the dog for you. These dogs are very smart, their average IQ being about 100. Since Labrador retrievers are so smart, it is easy to train them as they pay attention very well and can easily catch on. Even if you are inexperienced with dogs, these are very easy beginner-friendly dogs as they are very easy to train and take care of.
