Greenwood Park Mall Concert Series
The Greenwood Park Mall will be hosting concerts for various small bands and artists every Thursday from June 3 to July 22. These will take place near the outdoor fountain and will last from 6:30 to 8:30, so you don’t have to expect to be up all night. These concerts are free to attend, and they are sure to please everyone with the diverse range of music performances. This concert series is a better option for those who want an even smaller concert feel compared to the ones taking place at the Greenwood Amphitheater.
Stones Crossing – Pixy Theater
On May 3, the band Stones Crossing will take the stage at the historic Pixy Theater, located in Edinburgh. Known for their blend of country, bluegrass and gospel music, Stones Crossing delivers performances that are both heartfelt and lively, appealing to fans of all ages. While this particular concert is not free, it remains an affordable entertainment option, with tickets priced at just $10. Unlike the other events listed, which are held outdoors, this concert will be at an indoor venue—offering the added comfort of air conditioning and seating, regardless of weather conditions.
Summer Concert Series – Greenwood Amphitheater
Nearly every Saturday evening from June to August, live performances of all music genres will be taking place at the Greenwood Amphitheater in Craig Park. These concerts include performances by various different groups including the Blue River Band, Toy Factory, Zach Day Music and several others. All concerts start at 7p.m., and guests wishing to attend should be prepared by bringing their own lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks or drinks. This concert series is the perfect option for a more easy-going night out without having to travel very far.
Kesha – Ruoff
Pop icon Kesha will be performing at Ruoff Music Center this summer on July 18. Known for hits like “Tik Tok,” “We R Who We R,” and “Your Love Is My Drug,” Kesha’s music defined an era for many and continues to be a nostalgic favorite, especially for us high school students who grew up blasting her songs on the radio. Her concert promises a night full of throw-back tracks and lots of fun. Hosted at the Ruoff Music Center, although it may be a drive, this performance will be completely worth it for anyone who loves a big, upbeat concert.
Thomas Rhett – Ruoff
Another big concert happening at Ruoff this summer is Thomas Rhett on June 14. Dominating country music for years now, Thomas Rhett is certainly a concert you cannot miss when he is in town. While country music may not be for everyone, nothing can beat the experience of a country concert on a warm summer night. So, whether you are a lifelong fan, or you just want an excuse to dress up in denim and cowboy boots, Thomas Rhett will make sure that you have a night to remember at his show.
