The Thirteenth Hour
Located off of 465 and Shadeland Avenue on the South side,, The 13th Hour is Indiana’s highest rated haunted attraction and one of its largest. It features five interconnected haunts: The Sharpe Family Orphanage, The Cathedral of Souls, The Widows Revenge Cemetery: The Dead Rise, Cartocker Expeditions, and Rift/13. Hanna Haunted Acres
Nestled in a maze of cornfields just outside of Indianapolis, Hanna is a prolific haunted attraction that has been in operation for over 30 years. Hanna features 7 attractions and 5 new haunts for the 2025 Halloween Season: Bitten, Stalker Farms, Cannibal Chaos, Dark Echoes, and Freakshow. In addition to the haunted houses, the experience at Hanna is enhanced with their famous Haunted Hayride, a Haunted Corn Maze, and a midway full of games, food, and scares at every turn. Ticket prices begin at $28.95 for general admission with an unlimited fast pass and immediate tickets available at higher prices.
Indy Scream Park
Indy Scream Park, which is actually in Anderson, hosts a plethora of attractions to partake in on a spooky evening, including 5 high production haunts: Neon Nightmare 3D, Lockdown, Back Woods, Zombieland Unchained, and Nightmare Factory Blackout. The park also includes a massive midway with games, food, and scare actors. What’s more is the park features a Zombie Paintball Assault attraction, though it is not included with standard admission and will cost extra. Overall ticket prices range depending on day and demand with general admission ranging anywhere from $27.95 to $45.95. Fast Passes are available at VIP, Unlimited, and Super selections.
Nightmare on Edgewood
Ominously perched in the streets of southern Indianapolis, Nightmare on Edgewood will be hosting its last year of operation after running for 48 years. This year’s lineup of attractions features 3 Haunts: Unhinged, The Factory, and Conley Farm. It should be noted that Nightmare on Edgewood is a “full contact” haunted attraction where actors will be able to physically grab you. However, a “chicken” ticket option is available where you can opt out of the extra scare. Ticket prices begin at $35.00 for general admission with a Fast Pass also available for $55.00. After the 2025 season, Nightmare on Edgewood will be permanently closing, so don’t miss your last change to experience the scares.
Necropolis
Buried beneath the surface on the east side of Indy, Necropolis is one of the largest haunted attractions in the country, featuring over 50,000 square feet of fear to explore. Necropolis features 4 haunts: Nightmare House, Cemetery of the Damned, Dead and Breakfast, and The Bunker. Necropolis is also home to a myriad of attractions including axe throwing, mini-golf, escape rooms (to be enjoyed with friends and in vr), and a paranormal encounter in the recesses of what was formerly the Western Electric Plant. Ticket prices begin at $35.00 for general admission, with fast pass and VIP selections available. Necropolis also features a discount for groups of 15 or more.
