General

  • Musical workshops for the auditions for “The Addams Family,” the fall musical, will be Monday and Tuesday from 3:15 – 5 p.m. Physical copies of the selections for the auditions will be available at the workshop.
  • Seniors, watch for an email this week about College App Day on Sept. 4.
  • Yearbook photos will be taken on Sept. 25 for underclassmen and Nov. 21-22 for seniors.

Academic

  • Pick up college info in the Guidance Conference Room during STaR.
    • On Tuesday, Aug. 27, come find out about Indiana State University.
    • On Thursday, Aug. 29, come find out about Taylor University.
  • Thursday, Aug. 29, Early College will have a large group meeting in the auditorium during star for all EC students

Clubs

  • The Best Buddies callout meeting will be Monday and Tuesday during STaR in the cove. Interested students should report to STaR then go to the cove on one of the two days.
  • The Key Club callout will be 3 p.m. in the cafeteria on Monday, Aug 26.
  • On Tuesday, Aug. 27, the Book Forum will host their first meeting in the Media Center during STaR.
  • On Tuesday, Aug. 27, the first Futsal Club meeting will be in the west balcony above the Vandermeer Gym from 3-4:30 p.m. Dues are $3 for the whole season.
  • FCA will meet on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 7 a.m. in the auditorium.
  • On Thursday, Aug. 29, Unified Sports & Games will meet in room 296 during STaR.
  • Red Alert Robotics will meet on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Innovation Center. See Mr. Owens for more information.
  • Tri-M will have their callout meeting during STaR on Friday, Aug. 30 in the Percussion Room.

Sports

  • Monday, August 26
    • All Freshman, Sophomores, Juniors, and senior baseball players: We will have a meeting  after school at the baseball field.
    • Girls Soccer will be at Lawrence Central beginning at 5:30 p.m. with JV, varsity to follow at 7:15 p.m.
    • JV Girls Golf will tee off at Hickory Stick at 4:15 p.m.
    • Developmental Boys Soccer  will take on Franklin Central at home at 5:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, August 27
    • Volleyball will host Grandparents Night during their game against Cathedral at home. JV and freshmen play at 6 p.m., varsity to follow at 7:15 p.m.
    • Varsity Girls Golf tees off against Carmel and Fishers  at 4:30 p.m. at Prairie View.
    • Boys Tennis will play @ North Central at 5 p.m.
    • Boys Soccer will play at Lawrence Central beginning at  5:30 p.m. with JV, varsity to follow at 7:15 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 28
    • Girls golf play their county tournament beginning at 1 p.m. at the Legends.
  • Thursday, August 29
    • Varsity and JV Boys Soccer  play at home vs. Carmel: JV will play at 5:30 p.m.; varsity to follow at 7:15 p.m.
    • Developmental Boys Soccer  takes on Hamilton SE at Home at 5:30 p.m.
    • Volleyball will play at Pike with games starting at 6 p.m.
  • Friday, August 30
    • Varsity Football will play New Palestine @ Home at 7:00 p.m.
    • Boys & Girls Cross Country will run their meet against New Pal during halftime.
    • Varsity Boys Tennis will play in the Jasper Tournament at 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 31
    • Boys & Girls Cross Country will run the Franklin Invitational  starting at 8:30 p.m.
    • Girls Soccer  will play the North Central Tournament
      • 9:00 a.m.   CG JV vs. West Vigo JV
      • 10:45 a.m.   CG Varsity vs. Evansville Reitz Varsity
      • 12:30 p.m.   CG JV vs. Lawrenceburg JV
