When she isn’t busy reviewing articles by other staff writers, Lidy enjoys writing student features, opinion pieces, and taking sports photos. In addition to Publications, Lidy is a member of the Center Grove Girl’s Track team and an avid participant in Best Buddies.

The fire drill occurred during STaR on Friday, just one week after CGHS conducted a July fire drill in order to be in compliance with state law. “I don’t like how frequently we have to do fire drills, but I’m glad we have measures in place to keep students safe in case of an emergency,” Hopkins said.
