Brandon Tripp, Sports Social Media Editor

Junior Brandon Tripp has been on staff for two years. He started his career as a sophomore, taking pictures at sporting events throughout the school year that would go on the Trojaneer Sports Instagram page and in the yearbook. Tripp is one of the sports social media editors and currently works on making final score posts that go on the Trojaneer Sports Instagram page. Tripp would like to note that he loves motorsports and football.

Junior Claire Lollar listens on the phone during "Bye Bye Birdie". Claire plays the role of Kim McAffee in the musical. "I love theater," Lollar said. "It's just a different way to express yourself compared to other forms of art. It's just a fun way to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. The different shows each year have a different dynamic especially figuring out the show, the sets, all the transitions and the costuming. It's also a different bond. Last year, it was like a family and this year it's even more of a family. Even though it's still a lot of people, we all have gotten so close over the past few months."

Sophomore Zoe Land finishes her drive on the eighth hole in a match against Roncalli. Land placed first individually for the first time in her varsity career and looks to bring that momentum into the Trojan Classic. “I have confidence that I can go into the Trojan Classic and put up a good number,” Land said. “I definitely think I can have a similar performance at the Trojan classic because I tend to play better when I play 18 because I can get in a groove and stick with it.”

At the Sept. 1 football game, senior Ivanna Rodriguez performs the first part of the show at halftime without costume. Rodriguez, part of the weapon line, said, “I enjoyed doing this part of the show because we worked during band camp. It was my last time learning the beginning of a marching show and learning it and performing it meant something to me.”
