Yesterday, the Center Grove boy’s and girl’s swimming and diving teams secured both Johnson County championship titles. This year’s championship titles are the Trojans’ first since 2019 for the boys and 2015 for the girls.

The Trojans’ success was led by multiple individual first-place finishes including Garrett Crist (200-yard individual medley and 100-yard backstroke), Grace Clarkston (50-yard freestyle), Ben Clarkston (50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle), Lara Phipps (100-yard butterfly), Mia Prusiecki (1-meter diving), and Vincent Howe (500-yard freestyle). Center Grove also had all three relay victories for the boys (200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, and 400-yard freestyle relay), and the girls finished first in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
